Lainey Wilson

Lainey is a graduate of the University of Nevada Las Vegas with a degree in Dance Production Management. She has taught dance for over 12 years, and spent several years as an Entertainment Event Specialist at the Disneyland Resort. She first discovered her passion for Pilates while rehabilitating from a dance injury, and noticed the impact it had on her overall well-being. Lainey works with a diverse range of clients, but specializes in working with dancers and other athletes to increase their strength, flexibility, and technique. She loves helping her other clients reach their health and fitness goals through programs suited specifically to their needs. Lainey is certified in BASI Pilates with a specialization in Dance, as well as DK Body Balancing Mat Pilates and has studied with Dolly Kelepecz, Karen Clippinger, Jen Montgomery, and Erika Quest. She is very excited to help promote Pilates in the Wenatchee Valley! Outside of the studio Lainey enjoys spending time with her husband & sons, hiking, camping, and traveling.

Instructor

Kalie Worthen

Kalie initially got into Pilates in college, 2016, when she was looking for another way besides running to move her body. It quickly became her favorite way to complement her long distance running habits. In 2021, she started reformer Pilates with Cascade Pilates & this was a game changer. Pilates became the bread and butter of her exercise regimen. It helped her prepare for a marathon, childbirth, and was a stress relief from her day job. Kalie enjoyed Pilates so much she decided to make it her new day job! She leaped into the Balanced Body mat and reformer certification program in November of 2023, and is eager to share her favorite hobby with others! Outside of Pilates, Kalie enjoys getting fresh air with her toddler, running & forcing her husband to watch reality TV with her.

Instructor

Monica Bitterman

Monica's Pilates journey began through physical therapy in 2021 and has since evolved into a passion for living a stronger, more mindful life. As a mother of three, she's learned the importance of balancing life, family, and personal health. Monica is a Balanced Body Certified instructor, and is dedicated to helping others cultivate that same balance—empowering them to be more body-aware and resilient while navigating the demands of everyday life. Continuous growth is at the heart of her practice, both for herself and those she guides.

Instructor

Instructor

John Kerkering

Originally from Richmond, Virginia, John arrived in Wenatchee in August 2025 from Washington, DC, where he taught reformer pilates - beginner and intermediate - at District Pilates for just over two years. He trained at Balanced Body and has sustained regular practice to stay fit(ish), stave off entropy, and tend to a slipped disc and attendant sciatica - conditions that, like many others, brought him to pilates in the first place. What he likes most about teaching is helping clients realize they can do more than they imagined they could do and building comfort and familiarity with the intimidating contraption that is the reformer. His favorite move is short spine and his least favorite is anything involving legs at 90 degrees.

Instructor

McKenzie Baird

McKenzie is a movement instructor in the PNW with training in Pilates, yoga, and dance. She specializes in injury prevention and sports conditioning and enjoys creating a welcoming environment for all of her students. McKenzie also teaches at Central Washington University, where she trains dancers and theater artists. She holds an MFA in Dance with a focus in injury rehabilitation for dancers and is certified through BASI Pilates and Pilates Academy International. When she’s not teaching, McKenzie can often be found working behind the scenes with Rogue Assembly Theater Company, which she runs with her husband, Phil. Lately, she’s been learning the art of woodworking and pottery, so her family can expect handmade cutting boards and a growing collection of lovingly crafted objects that may or may not technically qualify as bowls.
